Food For All

 

We have helped create a program for high schoolers named Food For All – a collaboration between MHC, the South Hadley Youth Commission, the food pantry garden and the South Hadley Farmers Market, that provides for interns to become knowledgeable about food justice, to become familiar with our food pantry, to experience the rigors of vegetable growing, and to run a table at our community’s farmers market. At the Farmers Market surplus vegetables are offered in exchange for a donation.  The donated money is then given to the food pantry.
